Description: Offered with ARTS 544.001 & LA 512. Creating Change: Climate Change explores how art and design can assist us in adapting to shifting environmental, social, and economic conditions in the context of global warming. Students will conduct creative site investigations and biological data driven research at the SEV LTER to develop ecologically and socially-focused artworks. This course embraces practices from applied art, fine art, and design to establish a laboratory for creating change. In the face of crises, we invite a future that is connected, sustainable, and evolving.
