Description: Welcome to Climate Futures in Fiction and Film! In this course, we will explore the science of climate change as well as literary representations of climate change and its social and environmental impacts on the page and on the screen. Through class discussions, independent writing assignments, and a storytelling project, we will ask how these two ways of knowing correspond, conflict, and provoke critical thinking and creative response to this urgent global issue.
